STUC General Election Manifesto Published

15th April 2010

Ahead of its Congress next week and the General Election on May 6th, The Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) has today (Thursday 15th April) published its Manifesto for Rebuilding Collective Prosperity. At the Manifesto’s heart is a challenge to the apparent consensus which prioritises deficit reduction over investment in people and services.

Unions into Schools has now provided over 200 classroom sessions to pupils throughout Scotland through their intrepid and dedicated network of trade unionists and STUC staff.
