Billfest - A Night for Bill Speirs - Sunday 7 March 2010

Family, friends and comrades of Bill Speirs have organised a special night to celebrate and commemorate Bill’s life and work to which you are cordially invited.

An all star cast will provide comedy, music, performance and poetry reflecting Bill’s many and diverse interests. Acts will include Ricky Ross, Pat Kane, Elaine C Smith, Rab Noakes, David Hayman, Tom Leonard, Paul Sneddon AKA Vladimir McTavish, Brian Speirs, Pauline McNeill MSP, Ghazi Hussein, Arthur Johnstone, plus special guests.

Individual tickets cost £20.00 each or tables seating ten persons can be purchased for £200.00

Tickets are on sale now through Glasgow Concert Hall box offices (0141 353 8000). £1 booking fee applies.

Tickets have been selling well so we advise early purchase to avoid disappointment.

There will also be a programme for sale at a small cost.

Proceeds will go to further commemorations, to Palestinian solidarity campaigns, and the charities designated by Bill: Community H.E.A.R.T; Scottish Friends of Palestine; Connolly Association; War on Want. Further details of charities can be found in the links section of this website.
